Thanks to the thousands of Campaign for Liberty members who have tirelessly dedicated themselves to spreading the word, gathering petitions, and putting continuous pressure on Congress by calling, writing, and faxing, Congressman Ron Paul informed C4L today that House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank has officially agreed to hold hearings on HR 1207! The hearings are tentatively scheduled for Friday, September 25 at 9:00 am.

Is there a recommended course of action for the days leading up to the hearing? Calling of congressmen and such? Or are there deaf ears just prior to and during hearing such as this?

Do you see the recent momentum behind 1207 and 604, even on the Democrat side, as politicians posturing to appease the wave of popular support demonstrated in the tea party movement and such? Or do you think it is a genuine desire of these politicians to reign in the Fed and hold them accountable?

if we hold them accountable with our votes in the end it wont matter... i do think some are jumping on board the same we originally did, and some are just faking or feigning interest....

I think many of the representatives jumped on board because of the ground swell. After all, these men and woman are paid to win elections first and foremost. However, I don't believe motives matter anymore. The fact is HR 1207 is supported by the majority. We are winning.
